CANNES (FRANCE) - At the premiere in Cannes, Yahoo! Associate Will Lester had another chance to talk to George Lucas about his plans for another Star Wars : Planet Of Dagobah. Here is what Lucas had to say.

Frankly speaking, I actually had the idea to stop the Star Wars Franchise right after Episode III hits theatres but then my kid came up to me one day and he was asking me whats Yoda daddy! And that struct me... We have seen Yoda in every possible angle in the movies but never actually thought about making a movie outta him!

Yoda has been a Jedi trainer for nearly 8 centuries. A member of the republic and the Master of Count Dooku, the apprentice who deliberately betrayed the republic. So my idea is about before everything happened and at some point when he was human. We want to tell audiences that Yoda was once a Human-Jedi who misused the force and ended up in a curse of pathetic creature-like form.

Since Planet of Dagobah was once the remaining home of the republic, we will show the audience how Yoda misused the force to create fear in his homeworld. And the remaining have to watch the movie.

Asking about the best person to play the "Human" Yoda : "I would say Zulbukhari Ani is still the frontrunner but me and Rick (McCallum) are still in talks about it"

Few stars will be reprising their role. Natalie Portman has signed to reprise her role as Amidala. There will be a new star to play Young Count Dooku and according to Lucas, Christopher Lee will return as the elder Count Dooku for a cameo. Some new casts are expected to sign in for the movie.

Fans Can expect much more of this when more news becomes available.
